Let There Be Rain...

... Let there be rain.....and there's been lots of it. I'm beginning to think that the planners are looking at weather forecast and saying, "the rain is going this way, let's send him here." Lol

I feel ya.. Every time i drive through Illinois in the evening, whether it's I80 or I70 i run into horrendous storms.. I did that last night too. I could hear tornado sirens going off, hail, driving rain, crazy strong wind etc. I got pulled over on a ramp.

So were you in that crap too, last night? I was about. 28 miles west of Danville, IL.

I wish we had that problem here in Upstate New York. We've been in a drought all summer. It's been 90 degrees and dry as a bone for like two months. Now it finally seems like it's breaking and we're getting some good rain here and some cooler temperatures. Tell dispatch to send you to this way and bring some of that rain with you.

We just had a run up to Upstate NY. I was excited to go because I thought it would be a break from the heat after running around the southeast all summer.

Boy was I wrong! Not only was it seriously hot, but we got stuck on the shoulder with no air for three hours. 96 degrees in NY? Bleh!
