Ewwww Country Pride and Iron Skillet are always our last choice. Luckily my codriver knows of these great restaurants that have truck parking or really close by. Last time we were in PA we were able to get Ruby Tuesdays, another time we went to a great mom n pop italian restauant that makes everything from scratch. Some truck stops also have Golden Corral and IHOP too.

Darn thinking about it is making me hungry lol.

Definitely it's just so bland and expensive. I'll even take subway over those two restaurants haha. I like truck stops that are close to good places to eat. My home terminal in Albuquerque has so many places to eat at near by. Most of the people at those places know me well haha.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

I also love popeyes, and bojangles ranks right up there. Unfortunately, there are very few Popeyes in my area and no Bojangles. I have to wait till I visit the folks down south to get some. One of my all time favs are bojangles country ham & cheese biscuits. My wife calls it a salt lick on a bun, but it's oh so goood.

Plenty of popeyes at the TAs, it's one place of can't get tired of. We have a bojangles by the terminal in decatur but it was too full that I drove back out to this ta in Madison. Definitely want some bojangles and some true southern soul food.

Download the One20 app. It has all the restaurants nearby the are truck accessible. Some might only be bobtail accessible but it gives you an idea of what's around.

Bobtail:

"Bobtailing" means you are driving a tractor without a trailer attached.
