Woke up this morning to a chilly 49 degrees in Evanston, WY. Fired up the Diesel Fuel powered bunk heater. Wow......that sucker took the chill right out of the cab. Nice to know how well it works! Having lived in the Desert Southwest my entire life, 49 degrees is getting close to Parka and Mittens weather for me!

Lol, 49 degrees and I'd just open the windows and enjoy it!.

But yeah, those bunk heaters can pump out some serious heat

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

I agree! This is also a great reminder for everyone to fire up the bunk heater and test it out. You want to make sure it is working properly because the cold weather is near.

I'll never forget the two years I lived in Michigan. When it got up to 49-50° in the spring, many families went out for a picnic!

I use the bunk heater to heat up cans of soup & stew.
