Okay guys and gals I have a refrigerator already on my truck ( it too is a dometic and is the proper refrigerator for my truck and I've have loved it. The only issue is freezer space or lack there of.

So at the company store they have these Dometic Freezers for sale, nice and portable not as big as a full size but about half that. Now it runs of of AC or DC and says it gets down to 0f. This is heart stopper at 400.00 so I risk it to have such a luxury? Well I did and couldn't be happier. It fits a bag of chicken, salmon, 2 bags of veggies, 7 or so microwave dinners and 4 ice cream bars with room to spare. Nice and cold everything is frozen like a rock.

That's good to know. How long have you had the freezer?

Two weeks now and it works like a charm. A two year warranty it really does the trick.. So long subway, Arby's, and all the other fast food joints I hate to eat. I had chicken marsella tonight and has happy as a clam. Tomorrow I think I'll grill some salmon with veggies and brown rice.

We looked at these at GATS. These are pretty awesome.

Does yours run off 12v power?

Keep in mind guys, these are pretty pricey. I'm going to just throw a ballpark number out there and say that for the size Brian has it probably cost him about $500.

But from what I have seen and heard others say, they are more than worth the price tag. They actually deep freeze food rather than just chill it. And they run on 12v power so you can actually use them on any truck!

Dometic has some really great truck products. A little bit more expensive, but they seem to be worth the price and you do get a good warranty with them.
