Steven, Do you remember how I advised you that you are looking in all the wrong places for employment as a new inexperienced driver? Well, you're still doing it, and I hope you'll heed that sound advice before it's too late for you to even get a job at all.
It was just a by the way question, not a mission statement, thanks.
Having been and O/O...about the only way that I could have afforded having someone else driving our truck, is if the company I was leased to carried ALL the insurance. I do know of friends who put drivers in their trucks, trying to break into owning a trucking company. I've watched them struggle financially. It was hard enough to keep up with one truck.
Yeah, I guess it would be difficult to make an informed decision on this unless I knew them personally.

I checked out a local "driver wanted" place, and the office person told me that I could drive for one of their owner operators. I wouldn't expect that to go too smoothly, but thought I'd ask if it is a common practice (in case I missed something).
Owner Operator:
An owner-operator is a driver who either owns or leases the truck they are driving. A self-employed driver.
