North Wilkesboro Speedway....😢

Passed the old North Wilkesboro Speedway yesterday...Mother Nature has shown her reclaiming powers once again as it was mostly grown over. So sad...use to be a great track. Guess NASCAR doesn't care as much about its roots as some of us would prefer. And they wonder why they can't sell out their "big city" venues anymore...😥

Finally.................Another NASCAR fan on TT!!!

I've only been into NASCAR for about 10-15 years so I'm still a "rookie" at it. Unfortunately gone are the names of the great ones, Petty, Yarborough, Allison, Baker, Wallace, Waltrip, Jarrett, Earnhardt, etc. So are some of the great tracks, North Wilkesboro being one of them. Too many great things have been put out to pasture...race tracks, typewriters, and my favorite, floor mounted headlight dimmer switches...😥

Guess I need more sleep...
