My "bad boy" time was longer ago. 1988 in fact, but was far worse.

I'm really surprised I lived through some of my Idiocy in my youth. Fortunately, my Criminal Record is clean, I just never got CAUGHT!

I was rejected by both Roehl and Swift because of a 2005 Misdemeanor 'Obtaining Drugs by Fraud.'(prescription forgery). Apparently this is a crime of 'moral turpitude' or dishonesty that even 12 years cannot forgive. It's incredibly frustrating.

It's probably not the dishonesty they're concerned with, it's the fact that it's a drug related crime. Drug and alcohol related crimes are taken far more seriously than most others by trucking companies. If you look at the qualifications for different companies you'll see a lot of them go out of their way to emphasize "no drug or alcohol related incidents" and often times it's for life.
