I was bored last night sitting at a bonfire with some friends and was looking thru the Play Store on my new phone and came across your APP. Awesome!

For those not familiar with it we have an Android mobile app with 565 CDL practice test questions, a scoring system, and the snippet from the CDL manual where the answer came from. It's totally free, and you can find it here:

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Well I'm not exactly a spring chicken myself...and I would know....I raise chickens! rofl-3.gif

Learning computer programming isn't a real big deal. If you can set aside about 60-70 hours a week for 5-10 years you'll start getting the hang of it. That's all it took for me.

Noooooo....when I decided I wanted to work for the Depart. of Justice, I knew I would have to learn computers...So I went to the local community college and took 3 semesters of Microsoft. And for me it was like Algebra...I had to beat it into my head. So I got the job...first day there, I turned on my computer....it was DOS !!!!!shocked.png black screen, green letters... Not what I beat into my head at all. BUT...when they got Microsoft a few years later, I became their inhouse computer guru....I really hated that.......
