Lol I'm already starting to like it here...thanks for the input Prime sounds like a great place to start I've looked into Roehl a little also but not in depth as some other companies. I hear that a lot also Rainy that most of the bigger guys and going to be very similar. I've always wanted to drive for Stevens but the pay isn't quite where I'd like it to be. Again thanks for all the info everything helps. Patrick were you a Marine or are you a native or Jacksonville?

Nah my family is military but ive just lived here a couple years.

I just posted my 2016 vs Jan 2017 pay.

Went from $822 gross per week to $1158 gross weekly avg. Not bad!

Hope this helps with a realistic view of earnings. Of course it will differ on how much home time and how we differ on time management.

I hate it lol. like its a decent place but its all tattoos food and strippers. not much to actually do anymore.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Hey man sorry didn't see your message. Maverick is a great company to start with. Lots of potential here and great place to start if you wanna do flatbed. Location is key however, where yall from?

I'm from NC but I'm currently stationed in Yuma Az.

I'm with CT.. I vote for Maverick if for no other reason than a military guy shouldn't go to a company with the initials Two Men Cuddling. 😆 Probably nothing wrong with the company and Rainy is the resident Prime consultant and I just gotta through something else out there. And if I were to go flatbed I would probably go with Maverick just from talking to the drivers. They seem pretty happy.

Cwc I'm assuming and hoping you're joking there lol. Maverick has lots of stuff going on in NC. We have dedicated, glass and flatbed freight out there. There's a terminal in Laurinburg which also has a glass plant across the road. I believe there are some day cabs out there as well.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Day Cab:

A tractor which does not have a sleeper berth attached to it. Normally used for local routes where drivers go home every night.
