RE West

While preparing my short list of companies to contact. I came a cross RE West. Does anyone have any knowledge of them? All comme ts and advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

RE West is a medium sized flatbed /dry van company based out of Ashland City, TN. (Just west /NW of Nashville. They have regular Dry Van and step deck dry van trailers. As far as flatbed goes they mainly haul construction equipment, farm equipment, mining equipment and large industrial heating/AC units. Little to no tarping. In fact their flatbedders aren't even given tarps. If a load requires tarps, then you would have to buy them. (Company does reimburse, at least that is what the recruiter said, lol). Their trucks are black. I was considering them. I didn't go with them because they had not received approval yet from VA for an apprenticeship program.

I also know that their dry van division does a lot of water heaters out of Ashland City. I live nearby and was thinking about them at first. They will be multi stops and driver assist unload however I am sure you will be compensated for this. They have decent looking equipment and seem like a nice small company to get going with.
