They didn't like my job history since there are plenty of gaps in it. I guess that fact you save money so you don't have to be a wage slave your whole life is a terrible thing. Nevermind the spotless driving record, criminal record, and perfect credit.

I had to hold back since the woman can't spell, and has terrible grammar. Ugh, it looks like I might be stuck with swift if I want to go with a company school.

Prime does indeed have some interesting policies when it come to employment history. I don't know all of the particulars, but I don't think they'll hire anyone that hasn't worked in like six months or anyone that was fired from their last job - something like that. They're pretty specific, and I'm not familiar with anyone that has quite the same type of policies.

I wasn't fired and it has been about 2 months now, but there were plenty of times I've been out of work for over 6 months. I've always gotten away with my attitude because I make sure to get good at what I do so I've never been fired in my life, but I'll quit when wronged without hesitation.

*Shrugs* I'm over it and moving on.

Ryan, if it's actually true that you'll "quit when wronged, without hesitation", you'll have a very very tough time in this industry. I only say that because you're going to get that feeling quite a bit, especially if you're the type who gets a bit big for his britches.

You have a terrible attitude. I can tell by each one of the things you say. Prime didn't take me either because of job history but it's whatever. They have every right to as well, don't like it, start your own business.

You haven't even driven a truck (I assume), let alone drove for swift, so don't act like you know everything about them.

I have a feeling you won't make it a year in this industry, you have to eat **** if you want better opportunities that is just life.

Robert B,

I'm aware there are a lot of hardships involved in trucking. I plan to have plenty of bad days being inconvenienced by disrespectful idiots, but then there are other things no one should put up with.

For example, the company I quit last told us they'd give us a pair of workboots after working there a month. After 3 months, no one had any boots. So I contacted the lady that made the promise, and she ignored me. So I contacted her a few more times. She ignored me. So I contacted the people above her, and she threatened me.

That's a case of blatant lying. I'm going to fry her once I get another job.

I feel pretty chill, Brett?

Please stay out of trucking. The last thing the industry needs is another litigious fool with a chip on their shoulder, tracking down a lawyer any time they feel wronged. I generally don't tell or ask anyone to stay away but in your case, I have to make an exception. Your attitude and better than thou attitude is going to be your own worst enemy out here.

Robert,

I didn't say I was going to sue her - although that's what she deserves. I'm not a sue happy guy. I actually have nerve damage from a nurse that didn't know how to take blood, and I didn't even sue over that.
