Oh that's a bummer! We have a section of the forum called CDL Training Diaries where people are sharing their training experiences. I don't know how much traffic your blog is getting but we're getting 110,000 uniques per month. And a forum is a cool way to share the experiences because you can still share photos, videos, etc but the interaction is a lot better than with blog comments. That's actually why we moved away from the blog format and into the forum for the Training Diaries - it's a better format. Maybe you could start a thread in our Diaries section and update it a little here and there for the sake of people coming into the industry behind you.

Not a problem, and I do see where you're coming from. eventually I will take some time and summarize my days in shorter lengths of writing because currently I am documenting each day I am out on the road and some of it is quite lengthy lol
I'm also doing a daily diary of my new adventure into the trucking industry. Today is day five attending Roehl's Driver Training School here in Marshfield Wi. I'm doing it just to share with my family mostly. It helps me feel connected to them when I'm away from home. I won't be making my entries public because I'm a terrible writer. However, I do enjoy reading about the adventures of others going through school.

You sound perfectly literate to me. You just said you enjoy reading the experiences of others and people would say the same about yours. And your audience is future truck drivers, not book critics from the New York Times. You don't need to win a Pulitzer Prize to share your experiences here.
I agree with Brett Bonarro. This isn't the type of climate where anyone is gonna care whether you are an excellent writer or not, and there certainly won't be anyone here poking fun at anyone's ability to construct the perfect paragraph. I mean we are just a bunch of truck drivers here enjoying following along with each others progress in this industry.
I do the same thing that you do in that I have a blog that I keep up just for my family to know what I'm doing, where I'm going, and how I miss them. In fact that recent entry I did here on the oversize load going over the George Washington Bridge was basically copied and pasted right out of my personal blog.
We'd love to hear your adventures if you can spare the time and effort to share with us, and no one will care if it's not written like a Mark Twain adventure floating down the Mississippi.

So, I started a standalone blog for my experiences with Celadon's school, orientation, and (eventually) my experiences as a new and leanring driver on the road. I fully plan to make this site a long-term thing. I'm not sure if I am allowed to share links here, so if I am not, I will just drop some excerpts here form time to time so I can keep in touch with some of you here at TT (no, I'm not leaving TT... I used to run websites for a living so to have my own site for my trucking life is only natural lol)
