I'm at the beginning of my my training with Swift Transportation.

Let's hope this isn't a sign for the next few weeks.

I ended up not getting to the hotel till almost 2200. In the process of getting ready to leave my three year old destroyed a window screen. Then fell while trying to play in the laundry basket and caught the edge of my foot. This has resulted in a sore and swollen foot. I had to laugh because it was like she was seeing how much destruction she could get in before I left. Then my heart broke a little when she grabbed a bag and started "packing" so she could go to school with daddy.

My brain hasn't shut off so it's going to be a long day lol. Ok I'll quit whining now. Have a great day everyone.

I hear that...we have to work to support them, yet our work takes us away from them.

Good luck today...

Thanks G- Town. I spent some time showing her photos of Swift trucks so she knows what company I am working with.

Unfortunately it was a sign. Something was wrong with my long form and I had to do another physical. Being up for over thirty hours and consuming large amounts of sugary caffeinated drinks had the expected outcome. My sugar was through the roof so I got sent home until cleared by a doctor.

Is what it is.

Very sorry to hear that. You'll be back. Good luck!

It is a new day. I wont lie yesterday sucked. I was angry and felt defeated. I got a good night sleep and reset my attitude.

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning to get the blood sugar addressed. Once it is addressed I can return to the school.

In the meantime I am studying the handouts that we were given yesterday so I stay fresh.

Have a great day everyone.

Good luck! I'm sure you'll make it and get this sorted out, and it was great to get to talk to you while you were here.

Thanks Kianan and same to you. Sorry I didn't formally introduce myself. Between the exhaustion and the physical my brain wasn't firing completely. Hopefully I wont be too far behind you.

Good luck on the mock test you got this. You've pretripped buses so you know the important parts. Few more axles and tires and a little bit different wording here and there.

Good luck! I'm sure you'll make it and get this sorted out, and it was great to get to talk to you while you were here.

Just posting an update.

Saw the doc today to go over lab results. I have to see the eye doc and one more follow up with the primary then I should be good to go. Knock on wood.

This is super frustrating, but it is something I did to myself. Hopefully beginning of May I'll be back at school.
