I am in San Diego, but if your going to try new Mexico food, I would have to say don't eat at the Mexican food place by the ta in Albuquerque, or the place by the ta in Moriarty NM. Quite sub par. What route are you talking in NM?
Taking I-40 all the way to Roland OK.
Someone suggested Lisa's Truck Center in Moriarty
I have never stopped there so I cant comment on it. But russles at exit 369 I think, had a descant green chile and pork. There is a place in santa rose down the street from ta and loves that had good food, just cant remember the name of it but it had truck parking. There just dose not seem to be any really good Mexican food in New Mexico, this coming from someone who grew up on it in ca. Good luck and have fun its a nice time of year to be out there.
Watch out for jumping cactus.
We were advised that we absolutely HAVE to stop at Little America in Flagstaff for a breakfast burrito.
I may find out how much showers are just so I can take a nice, hot bath too!
I was there for a cosmic minute. Had to run though dropped a trailer over at the yard and headed out quickly.

Hey guys!
Anyone hanging around out here? We're at the Petro and won't be going to bed until probably 9 or 10 tonight. I've got plenty of time on this trip so I'm not gonna push it too hard. Actually gonna get a chance to try some New Mexican food I've always wanted too!
Anyways, if anyone is around, give a yell and we can grab a cup of coffee or something.
