I doubt you could find a simulator, even for $$/minute.
At Swift, I've been in a simulator three times. I know you're looking to keep your shifting up, but a sim just lacks too much of the real feel to make it worthwhile.

As far as public sims go, really there are none. But it you want a game that is a somewhat good attempt at simulation, I'd recommend American Truck Simulator. If you get one of those few hundred dollar sim wheels and 100 dollar shifters, then it's as good as a simulator, but without the dashboard ;). But if you don't wanna buy those, you can even just play with the keyboard and mouse.

Are there any Simulators out there for public use. I know nothing is like jumping in a real one but I just want to keep my shifting sharp and don't want to lose all I've learned until I start working. Are the big companies the only ones that have the simulator?
