Isn't your FM new? He might not realize how hard it is if he is still new.

Fm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

I now call them up on occasion and let them know my magic carpet/time machine is broken and needs to sit for 34 hours for repairs hahaha.

It's not just you, Reaper! My last few loads have been very tight on time...no extra time for a nap or even a stretch break! Been churning a lot of midnight hours too. Maybe it's just the time of year? I remember a recent meeting where they said that reefer drivers were going to be really busy...June WAS the month I think. I picked up. A load this morning that delivers later this afternoon. Hoping my next run will have some miles on it so I don't feel so crunched! Hang in there!

If I could get loads that picked up in the morning if be Soo happy. Every single load I've gotten has been 7pm or later at night.

Reaper the reasoning behind your load times is because that's the time your empty. It all goes back to like they says communication. Once you submit the depart recievers message, they are looking for the closest load to keep you running. If you tell them I need a night to get some sleep and I'll be ready in the AM, then they will let you rest.

BMI:

Body mass index (BMI)

BMI is a formula that uses weight and height to estimate body fat. For most people, BMI provides a reasonable estimate of body fat. The BMI's biggest weakness is that it doesn't consider individual factors such as bone or muscle mass. BMI may:

  • Underestimate body fat for older adults or other people with low muscle mass
  • Overestimate body fat for people who are very muscular and physically fit

It's quite common, especially for men, to fall into the "overweight" category if you happen to be stronger than average. If you're pretty strong but in good shape then pay no attention.
