Didn't even hear a whisper until my FM sent out a fleet-wide message about 1100 this morning. As to how it will affect me as a driver, only time will tell. But, having done this little dance before when Swift absorbed Central, I am somewhat less than enthusiastic about the prospect.

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
Most of the people I talk to at CFI who have been through Conway, XPO and back to CFI are happiest with the current CFI. They seem to be working hard to make us drivers feel wanted. I hope things go as well for you there. As I'm sure you know, "that's trucking".
