I keep this blog up so you're knowing, Of all the fine places I'm going, But now I think that you'll find it a kick, That my Big Rig is rolling to Limerick!

I wrote that little limerick in a blog post back in February of 2015, when I made my first visit to Yarde Metals in Limerick PA. Now I am heading over there again, but I'm thinking that this is right down in G-Town's stomping grounds.

By the way Linden, if you see this, my dispatch got changed up a bit. I'm afraid I won't be seeing the "Big Blue Bug" on this load after all.

Okay. That's fine!

I see what you did there Pete,

Actually, it was rather neat.

I like Limerick just for it's name,

G-Town's contributions are taxed. What a shame.

I really don't get all the hype

Why flatbedders love hauling pipe.

My load it's a leaning,

Extra straps it's a seeming

To give bitter reason to gripe.

Nice job there Turtle,

Definitely a flatbedder hurtle.

I think you'll make it okay,

Just keep checking it along the way.

I definitely made it okay,

While checking my mirror all the way.

I try to be a fighter

But I don't know which was tighter,

My straps or my nerves on that day...

Really nice job, my flat-bedding friend,

It looks like you've gone and done it again.

Pete, unaware when he started this mess,

Would never, no never have ventured a guess,

How painfully it never would come to an end!
