Davis Express is based out of Florida and they hire from the SE and do regionals around there. I think that's the only place they run, though; No coast to coast as far as I know.

H. O Wolding has a SE Regional. I have hauled more than a bit of freight to North and South Carolina although mainly in the Charlotte area and up and down 77 and 85. I know most of the SE freight comes out of Cherokee, AL for Wolding. I have only ever been on the east coast of NC once. I hauled sugar up into North Carolina from Florida. Can't remember where exactly though. It was during my first couple months solo.
