Good luck! Just go with any company willing to take you on. After some experience, a whole new world of opportunities will open up to you.

A bit off topic.

Steven, how old are you? I swear you look like a bigger version of me.

I'm proud to be the youngest trucker on this site and usually the youngest trucker in the state I'm in. Glad you won't be taking that from me rofl-3.gif

My one piece of advice to you is to enjoy your time at home until you get out here. Once you get on the road its almost impossible to date or hang out with friends. You lose your entire social life. Its a tradeoff. Its a great job and a wonderful life if you're built for it.

And prepare to be surrounded by grey-beards! embarrassed.gif

Little baby boys...ya'll are just little baby boys !!! rofl-1.gif

ah...now I feel better....this cold weather is making me cranky..I really like to see young drivers start out from here, because we train 'em right !! TT's grads leave our cyber halls with pride in themselves, their profession, and making the trucking world better, one driver at a time. Nothing will change the opinion the motoring world has of truckers...only truckers can make the motoring world see a better more professional driver... So you baby boys just get on in here and let us older drivers impart some of our hard won knowledge on you..cuz short of spending as many years on the road as we have, its the only way you're gonna get it !!
