Don't know if tongue in cheek or serious haha, but I really liked driving over to Beacon Falls. The river that ran along the road kind of reminded me of a road back in New Mexico. Always though Connecticut and other northeast States were concrete jungles.
The worst store for backing, that I have come across, so far, is in Norwalk, CT. Lucky for me, most of my loads go west, or south. I still don't see the issue with driving the NE. (Other than decent parking.)
Ever since I jumped the kingpin, I have been more deliberate in my actions, taking the time to do things right, and be safe. My truck has been turned up, but I still set the cruise at 60 mph. I found that going 65 was more of a headache. Yes, it was fun passing Prime Trucks, though.
DAC:
Drive-A-Check Report
A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).
It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.
Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.
