You obtained your DOT medical card so you're able to drive interstate as long as your card doesn't have the bubble filled in about intracity zone or whatever. Not sure the cause of what your seizures were (and you don't need to share if you don't want), however when I went for my medical card I was worried about seizures in my past as well. I dealt with them from about 9 months old until I was 5. Doctors never did find out what was going on, as I tested negative for epilepsy. The medical examiner I seen said that because I hadn't had a seizure in 22 years, and off medication for 20 years that he believed it was febrile seizures I was dealing with. Again, I wouldn't worry about it unless the bubble is filled in restricting area of travel.
If you want to be completely sure and put your mind at ease give the examiners office a call. They should be able to pull up a copy of the card and tell you with 100% certainty.

A statement from your regular doctor (if you have one) stating you have been seizure free for X number of years, and off seizure meds for X number of years, will be very helpful. Keep the originals and only let others make copies. Whatever the FMCSA rules state, you can be turned down by companies for issues the rules allow.

I am a little confused about the law concerning interstate CDL and seizures. I have been seizure free for 20 years and anti seizure medication free for 11 years. I just passed my DOt physical. I am able now to obtain an interstate CDL correct? I’ve heard conflicting reports and I can’t seem to find anything on the internet. Thanks
