They should all accept EZ-Pass. I am pretty sure the NYC Metro area is where EZ-Pass originated.
Good luck on the George Washington Bridge! lol.
Best I could do Dan !!

Daniel,
The whole NE is EZ-Pass, so yes, your transponder will work for all the tolls you will encounter up there.

Thanks guys. My old DM didnt send me to the NE, now I got this new guy sending me places I don't like.
Just wanted to know if I need to stock up on some cash.
I was going to say, "If you are stuck on the Verrazano Bridge," you are S.O.L., because it is around $90 for a truck. If you have EZ-Pass/I-Pass you're good.
Dave
When driving around/through NYC or the new England area in general, patience is the key. Don't expect to get anywhere in a hurry and don't expect any courtesy from other drivers.
Yep, I did fine and it wasn't too bad of a drive. Except that they can't drive 4 wheelers and can't drive forklifts either.

LOL. Wouldn't know about the forklifts. My tanker goes to chemical plants.

Yeah me neither, until I found out the hard way when they hit my truck.

Hello good folks of TT. My DM has given me a load that delivers in Hicksville, NY. Ill be having to drive through the George Washington bridge and through many toll roads in the NYC/NJ area.
Does anyone know if these toll roads and bridges accept EZ-Pass or am I forced to pay out of my own pocket with cash? And if so, can you give me an estimate?
Thanks guys. I've never been in that area.

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
