A Quick Update From Swift Academy!!!

Greetings and Salutations!

Just a quick note to say that I've completed my first week at Swift's Training Academy in Fontana, CA. I also passed my first test on Air Brakes! It is a lot of work but I'm really enjoying it.

I've started a diary but wanted to pose a quick update here as several people have been very supportive of my efforts and I again want to again say thank you!

Before I end this, I want to share the most amazing thing happened this week. One of my roommates is a member of TruckingTruth.com! We'd had both read each others posts and laughed when we realized who our roomie was. How cool and small world is that?

He goes by Wind. As you'd expect from a TTer, he is a great guy. He is in the class ahead of me and helped me study for my Air Brakes test.

I will probably only post once a week but I will be as thorough as I can. Please feel free to post any questions there that you have. I'll do my best to answer them.
