Remember I have read alot of posts about people busting the blood pressure numbers. Keep sodium low and be careful with all the bad food and soda while on your journey.

Safe travels

Who knows Bran, by the time I'm ready to do this, you may be a trainer. Prime is my company of choice right now as I really like their training plan. Good luck and I'm looking forward to reading your diary.

I’d hurry up & pull the trigger. That is of course if you don’t mind having the automatic only restriction on your CDL. They seem to be moving quickly in that direction. I sat in a D12 automatic transmission training class yesterday since my upgrade truck is an auto & I trained in a manual. They had trainers that were getting certified as trainers in the front of the class & a bunch of rookies in the back learning the material at the same time. That didn’t happen when I started in March.

Good luck Bran!

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Just a quick update: I'm about to get onto the Greyhound for Springfield, MO. I'll have a 6 hour layover in St Louis which kinda sucks but I'm on my way.

That's a bummer. Waiting 6 hours for a three and a half hr trip.

It's about to get real. Keep your head in the game bud. Don't forget to come here with any questions. Good luck!

I'm about 4 hours away plus some with the Greyhound. It sucks but I'm taking it as all part of it lol. This is the easy part, it all starts for real tomorrow morning.
