I understand being tired at the end of the day. However, this lot is maybe 3/4 full. There are spots everywhere, including two or more next to each other.

Judging by how dark it is, I'm assuming the driver was thinking itd be full so, instead of circling the lot, they decided to be lazy and just park creatively so he doesn't have to walk too far to get to that double cheeseburger calling their name.

When driving in you could see all the empty spaces. They had to pass all the empty ones to get there.

Big Scott, What a point you made. There are too many drivers that either can't back up, refuse to try backing up or planned their time so poorly that they stop wherever they think it will be alright. Then along comes his "partner or another poor planner" and next thing you know the whole parking lot becomes a cluster....! Point well taken and hopefully message gets through.
