I was rather hoping so. The Pete man in that video hauling the Yuke sans "outriggers" must have that by-the-seat-of-his-pants sense about him. I'm very impressed with those heavy-haulers. I bet things never get boring behind the wheel.

I was watching this extreme heavy haul video with a mining dump truck, what my hard-hat grandfather called a Yuke. This load hangs out super wide on either side. The driver has to carefully balance the load while driving so it doesn't lean over and make contact with the asphalt. Even the crown of the road has to be considered. I was wondering if "outriggers" are ever used on loads like this. This could be special road wheels that would extend out far on either side of the load to keep it stable like the wing-tip landing gear on some large planes or the training wheels on bicycles.
