Welcome aboard Brooke!
I have good news and bad news about Oregon Trucking. The good news? I haven't heard anything bad about em. The bad news? I haven't heard of em period! 
Hopefully someone else here has. But I'm not familiar with them at all.
That made us laugh!!! HOpe someone has some info! We live in PA and are wanting to move to Utah. Looking for somewhere that my husband could possibly get on here...and transfer to Utah. That's also a wrench in the situation.
Dang, wish I can help but I rarely ever see a Central Oregon Trucking truck anywhere. Ill keep my eyes open and if I see one ill have a chat with the driver for you.
Central Oregon Trucking is a local company out of the Prineville, OR area. They have nice trucks, and we have a friend that works for them...and he loves it. I do know that they are expanding into heavy haul...just saw their ad a few days ago. Being a flatbed company, you can expect to haul just about anything. They are small, but seem to be growing, and doing it right.

This is for,anyone looking to work for Central Oregon, my husband has been in the driving field for over 15 yrs, he recently went to Oregon for orientation for them not knowing about the laws in Oregon he is a smoker so he was smoking and the CEO came out and told him that there are laws about smoking in designated areas and my husband said sorry and so forth the next day he was let go and mind you they paid for him to come to Oregon and then informed him that day that they were only paying for him to get to Salt Lake City, Utah, mind you we live in Indiana, so my husband being between jobs has been stranded away from home no money no food nothing can I plz get some feed back on something I could do to make this right because they have stranded him out in slat lake city, Utah? ?? Help me please

I have worked for Central Oregon Truck Company twice, currently here the past 13 years. This is probably the place where I will retire from as they treat me like part of the family, have great equipment, good pay and benefits and are really easy to work for. I don't know your husbands situation Lena, but it doesn't sound like COTC to me. Are you sure there wasn't something else? I would highly recommend COTC to anyone wanting to run flatbed. They have an open door policy and you can walk into the CEO's office any day and sit down and visit.

Transportation Worker Identification Credential
Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.
Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
COTC was awarded 2014 2015 "best fleets to drive for" if I were a flatbedder I would certainly consider them. Beautiful equipment also.
It's ironic that this post pops up from over a year ago. I was almost side swiped by one of there drivers today on I76.
And what was he doing? Eating some food with one hand and reaching for something on the floor between the seats with the other. Probably dropped his cell phone.

Just looking for some info on working for Central Oregon Trucking. My husband is thinking about applying there...we are looking for something is going to be maximum pay and maximum home time, (LOL! Isn't that what everyone wants??)but most of all we are just looking for a GOOD company...somewhere to stay and not be just another dead end. Thanks in advance!
