All of them were preventable, and the majority were from following way too close and driving way too fast. YouTube is loaded with these types of videos.

The driver recording this video is a very unsafe driver. It's like some of these fools think they can drive however they want and a dash cam will vindicate them, but that's not true at all. The video clips show that he tailgates, doesn't look ahead for hazards and probably has no clue what the Smith System is.

Agreed, all those videos full of speeding to fast for conditions, tailgating, and not driving defensively. The Smith System does in deed work. Use it keep distance and your speed appropriate to traffic and road conditions. Anticipate everyone to cut you off and do stupid stuff.
