Yep! I'm here ridiculously early. Appointment isn't till 7:30 but I only had to come out of LA this morning
I got here at 1200 for a 1600 appointment. They called me at exactly 1600 to give me a door...
Grocery DC's are among my least favorite places to go for reasons like that. Somehow they just don't seem to care about time.
On the bright side they just finished unloading me in less than one hour. I'm just waiting on my dispatcher to respond to my request for lumper fee...
Dispatcher:

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Yes.....That is our Mothership next to Winco. To get an idea how big the Terminal is, I believe that Winco building is 1,000,000 sq.ft. Walk on over and eat at the Jake Break Cafe. They will be glad to take your money. All of the profits go to charity.
Terminal:
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
