I live in the high desert of So Cal. Top of the Cajon Pass by the I-15 see that a lot down below in Fontana area of I-15 but they were parked when blown over onto their sides!! Had to be freaky getting flipped while moving jeeeeze!
Few times I saw 5-8 at one time laying on their sides! Probably not a fun mess to clean up with more than 1 turned over! This winter we have been having tons of high winds and rain! grrrr it can go away anytime now! Reminds me of my 3 months in Philippines! Oct 2016-Jan 2017, it rained every day for most of that time there !! 3 days was most without rain, soon as mud dried it rained! hahahaha
Can't wait to live there haha
I was looking at the US flag in the background when the trailer started lifting. Trailer had to be empty or had minimal weight in it. Hope the driver is OK as well as the co-driver if they were a team operation.
Wow... Thanks for sharing that Chris. Yeah he had to be empty. I'm surprised his company had him running. We constantly get Fleet messages about the cold, winds, General weather conditions in certain parts of the country. They always stress to keep in touch with dispatch if we are uncomfortable with the situation.

Truck blown over
Apparently there were sustained winds around 65 mph with gusts up to 80. In my opinion, the biggest thing for new drivers to take away from this, is how quick it happened. Don't think that you'll be fine and if it starts to blow the truck over you'll be able to just slow down and stop before it happens. Gusts like this will take your truck out of your control before you can even process what's happening.
