Sounds like a good plan. I'd have taken the same option. I'm not an expert on these things but, it sounds good to me.

Not questioning your decision but why couldn't they find you a trailer? My understanding is Schneider pretty much invented GPS location of tractors and trailers. I thought they know where everything is at all times +/- a few feet!?!

Got to customer with 4:11 drive time left and no pre assign, and no empty to pick up, so I was given the option of live unload or drop...where I would have to go get an empty don't know where....
I figured by the time I found an empty and then got a pre assign, I would have to take a 10, so I chose live unload and will have an empty and dispatch/ load planner are working on pre assign, as I am taking 10 at customer.....
