It means you're turning miles... Although it is late in the season to see that crap it's part of the job. Keep it Between the Lines brother. That's why this job is so interesting. I would go from Salt Lake City to Charlotte North Carolina driving through ice storms to where it was 75 degrees. And then the next time I went to Charlotte they had five inches of snow and nobody knew how to drive in it. Those days when I'm driving with very little traffic and as long as the wind isn't knocking me off the road I feel I have the greatest job in the world. Especially when I'm in areas that have beautiful scenery and I'm able to glance at it and still stay safe. Only been driving a little over eight months but I can't believe some of the sites I've seen. We have a beautiful country.
Just parked in Rochelle, drove up 39 to 90, over to La Crosse and back today. Wasn't too bad the first time, but the way back down slush had accumulated in some places, and sprinkle in some dumb, and there were cars in the ditches.
