I like my orange trailers for visibility. When I finally got to haul a white trailer, I could tell a difference. The orange trailers are easier to track visually from the mirrors, at least they are for me. But orange clashes with certain colors. I cannot understand why some Schneider L/O's choose red tractors to haul orange trailers. Would you wear a red shirt and orange pants to your high school prom?
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
I'm a little partial to the Wilson Logistics (Jim Palmer and Wil-Trans) fleet.
Darrel Wilson bought his first tractor in 1980 at age 20, but, being too young to meet OTR age requirements, he leased the truck out and hired a driver.
Through growth and acquisition, Wil-Trans now employs over 200 drivers, and has a long-standing partnership with Prime, Inc. to haul their refrigerated freight. The family of businesses also includes Jim Palmer Trucking and O & S Trucking.
If you’re asking about sharp looking well kept rigs, I like the Hirshbach trucks, Tribe, and Maverick. They all seem to be nice and shiny whenever I see them. My company lets you wash your once a year.😂
