You’ll have some big hills and rolling terrain, but nothing I’d consider mountainous. There will some dropping of gears. I’d compare it to a lot of Kentucky.

Are we talking like significant grades?
I don’t think so at all, but you’ll do some shifting. Nothing major.
You’re heading north out of the Gulf Coast, so there are going to be hills no matter what the route.

Cool, thanks
The grades are not like mountain steep but some of the curves can come up on you pretty fast if not paying attention. I do not believe they made a straight road through Missouri anywhere. I personally like that route and 65 North through there as there is some nice country and very nice farms through there. You can run into some Mennonite areas if off the 4 lanes so give the horse and buggies a brake.

10/4 actually I decided I'm gonna take us 65 through Arkansas instead.

Hey guys n gals,
I've been assigned a load going to Springfield, MO then Joplin, MO. I'm going to take some variation of this route:
I'm wondering, is this a mountainous route? Anything I should look out for? This will be my first time going up that way, just looking for any tips.
