G-Town I couldn't find the previous thread.

Anyway I'm at the Sunco travel plaza in S. Somerset. Did my 30 and about to leave. I have about 4 hours left until my destination, but can't deliver until tomorrow. So maybe if your in the area of West Point, (somewhere near AllenTown). If you have time to hook up today or after I unload.

Oh yes its about0830 in Pa.

Hi Raptor. I thought you were delivering to Merck tomorrow. I apologize, already committed to a southerly run through lower slower Delaware to Rehobeth then Berlin MD, back north backhaul from Scott Paper near Phila. Int. Airport.

Sorry...if you come through this way enough, eventually, we’ll meet.

G-Town-

You bet there will.be a next time. Yes they let deliver early. That doesn't happen often.

Amish country-

I stayed last night at the ACME (SAVON) after shopping there. I'm now at the D-K DINER ON east Gay St. My best appointment is in Downytown, pa heading for Franklin, In.

That is 100% correct. I call it Scott paper because that is what it used to be called.

However I never made it there (happens) ...was down with a stomach virus.

Small world. Was down there twice yesterday. We deliver to the cogen part of the plant. Well for now. Once they get the gas turbines up and running they wont need us anymore.

TWIC:

Transportation Worker Identification Credential

Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.

Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

I am there couple to three times per month on average. Usually picks up over the summer barbecue season; paper plates and such.
