Just got one myself, my friends have made several meals out of theirs when I went by for dinners. Very handy to have cooks in like 1/4 the time of a regular slow cooker plus rice cooker all in one. Some industrious folks even make came out of it, though no one I know has done that yet.
I plan to take mine OTR , just have to make sure you have right inverter for the wattage on the thing. I think it's be super duper useful on the road , one pot coming easy clean
So obviously people use Crock-Pots lots but has anyone switched to an insta pot? Likes? Dislikes?
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
I've got one and love it. I also have an electric skillet. The insta pot is awesome for steaming veggies, while you can use the skillet for steaks or what ever. The insta pot is also great for chilis and stews
I just bought the smaller one and have yet to open the box. Its just sitting with the rest of the stuff on the spare bunk. Ill look forward to seeing anyones recipes because i need to start eating healthier and any tips would be appreciated.
