My journey up to this point. I started about a year ago with the idea of getting into trucking. The usual research online fourms and YouTube. Then I started studying for my permit and used cdl apps, high road and verbal practice videos from YouTube. Did that for about 4 months till I could damn neer recite everything in my sleep. Took the permit test and got perfect scores across the bord. Then I study PTI videos on YouTube for about 3 months till I could recite them in my sleep. Hooked up with CRST got to Iowa went through NADTA was ahead of the game with all the preperation I had done. So training was a breeze for me. I never drove a truck prior they did a good job from my prospective no complaints here. Only negative thing I can say is the food sucks. I bought myself a cooler filled it with ice and cooked my own food. So I didn't skip a beat and ate like a king every night. It's what you make it. My roommates were cool and for the most part classmates were cool. I have not seen any of the negative things you read about online. My experience here has been great so far. If anyone has questions I may be able to answer them over the next few days.

Yeah I was in Cedar Rapids for a quickee stop off for 1 day (overnight).....Sucked they didn't at least have a small eatery in the building like we have at Riverside Terminal.......So walked down the block to a nice chinese place.....And man the coffee area at CR,,,,, jeeze whatta pig trough, no one can clean up their own spillage mess lol

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
