Moving From Minnesota To Florida

My wife and I are.planning a move to Florida from Minnesota. Would like advice from anyone who has done this before.

I start with a moving truck and go south from there.

I sure did! And before that Minneapolis area to st Petersburg Florida! Our move was pretty simple we loaded up all our stuff into our 2 cars and hit the road. Sold everything big because we felt it was cheaper to buy new down there than move our stuff but we were also 24/25 so we were still starting out. When we moved to Iowa we rented a uhaul trailer to pull behind our van due to having kids and bigger items. Total cost moving to Iowa was probably $800 including trailer rental and hotel stays for 2 nights.
