Only thing slowing me down is live loading and unloading.
The current trailer I have has been attached to me for 13 consecutive days! I'm getting loaded with a load of water now to take to a Walmart DC in Alabama, so I'll have it for two more days, an all-time record for me.
Operating While Intoxicated
I have had the same trailer for last 10 days and am taking it to San Antonio next Tuesday. 50/50 chance that I drop and hook there if not I will have it for 3 weeks. I usually end up swapping trailers 3 to 7 times a week. I kinda like it as long as I have a good trailer.
Drop and hook means the driver will drop one trailer and hook to another one.
In order to speed up the pickup and delivery process a driver may be instructed to drop their empty trailer and hook to one that is already loaded, or drop their loaded trailer and hook to one that is already empty. That way the driver will not have to wait for a trailer to be loaded or unloaded.
