On a 2019 International LT without opti idle it will start shutting stuff down such as lights and bunk heater however it will NOT prevent the batteries from draining to the point where you will need a jump. When you take your 10hr break go ahead and do whatever you do such as watching tv or what ever but run the truck for a good 30 minutes to charge them before you go to sleep. When you wake up first thing turn the key on and see how much charge you have and start it up to for a little bit to recharge again. Just running the refrigerator should be fine but if you run other stuff such as a fan, lights, tv, laptop etc without starting the truck up for a while or even while you are stopped for 8-12 hours you will kill the batteries. If you have an inverter with a microwave or other appliances always run the truck while using appliances. When you check your voltage when you wake up you dont want to have less than maybe 11.8 volts. Start getting less than that and you will eventually have problems. Again the refrigerator alone shouldn't run your batteries down overnight.

Thanks! It was reading 12.7v on the inverter input display last night and after about 4hrs it had only come down to 12.6v. So I definitely think 10hrs shouldn't be enough to run it down dead. Running it for 30min or so before sleeping is gonna go into effect from now on as well lol.

Is getting a small generator a good idea to run the fridge and whatever else in the future. I'm in mid to southern Southeast. Km at the same Petro from the earlier comments and its showing 96degrees at 3pm est.

I would not get a generator. Just idle as you need to.

Generator is something else to keep up with, different fuel, takes up space outside on the catwalk, and may get easily stolen.
