That's what we need precisely--more Big Government intrusion. I'm sure it will get fixed quickly, and will run just as smoothly as all things in government do, too!
If indeed they are violating federal regulations, they absolutely should be investigated. Guess what Packrat? It effects the company you work for also, whether you want to acknowledge that or not.
Thanks for all the lessons, Robert. I really fail to see your logic, but we each have an opinion. I'll spend my time on things where I can see an outcome. Protesting free enterprise, questioning the Haves vs Have Nots, and bemoanining supply and demand economics is not in my foreseeable future.

Because there's always haggling to be done when dealing with brokers, every company does it and as I've mentioned, by law, a carrier has the right to know what the load actually pays when they request it. For all intents and purposes, with technology what it is today, brokers really aren't needed but if they're going to remain, companies should be able to expect them to be honest and transparent. There's a meeting being held Monday in DC with the DOJ to discuss potential price gouging. Customers are still being charged pre covid rates yet are going on loads boards for bottom of the barrel rates.
