Nice truck. I personally would not mix and match the tire sizes. Not sure what kind of issues it may cause, but they don’t come from the factory that way, so I wouldn’t do it.
It's safe to do on the steer axle, but never on the drives. It may have different driving characteristics, though.
It would not hurt on the steers but you might not care for the looks of different size tires and rims on the front. Those tires and rims will trade very well for a set you want for the fronts.

I have a 94 Pete and it has 24.5 rims on rear axles and I have a set of 22.5 pilots with new tires for steers that came with truck. I was just wondering if it's ok to use them as fronts when my current steers wear out?
