Just out of curiosity; what antenna are you using for your CB or which do you recommend? Factory or did you install your own? Looking at install one myself because factory antenna sucks on the 2020 Cascadia.

So far I've been rocking those factory antennas on our trucks the Freightliners get like 2 miles of range and the KWs get about 5.

Everybody is gonna have their preference. In my opinion the best antenna that you can get from a truck stop currently will probably be a Wilson. I wouldn't recommend the Terminator 2. I ran one for barely a year and the whip curved to the left and the second coil from the bottom started to become loose. Causing my transmission to break up.

Now if you want to go all out like I did I bought a Predator 10k antenna. Had it for almost year and I highly recommend. Damn near indestructible. I think its the best out there currently. But your gonna pay for it. 110 dollars if I remember right. And you gonna have to either order it online or find a CB shop like I did that carriers em. Or a chrome shop. Also before you buy any antenna figure out how your gonna mount it.

Also recommend having your CB peak and tuned if you havent already. Speaking of which did you ever get yours done Bobcat?

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

No I haven't I've been busy and haven't had time to stop when he is open.

Plus the display is going out on my Bearcat, 3/4 of it doesnt work anymore and every day the spots that are are getting dimmer. Should I replace it I will get the new one tuned.

Gotcha. He might be able to fix the display. Actually I can almost guarantee he could. Or he might have some prior used. Bearcats peak and tuned ready to go.

I'm going to have to find the time to stop by and see what he has. We've been really busy few weeks when I pass by I'm almost out of time. I'm going to take a day off in next couple weeks I might just go over then.

I also should of mentioned that I'm pretty sure when you buy off of him. You get a one year warranty through him. I know for sure I have one on my Galaxy and I think he does the same for pre owned radios. So he's not taking in junk. Sometimes its a driver didn't like the Bearcat and wanted a Cobra or vice versa. Keep in mind sometimes he'll have nobody in line other times 3 to 4 people. But he is extremely knowledgeable. He's also always on channel 32.
