I 70 eastbound in Indiana I got inspected level three. Not pulled over onto a ramp or rest area or anything, just right there on the side of the interstate. So the first thing going through my mind is “why is he pulling me over“(I wasn’t speeding or anything). So he comes up on my passenger side and sticks half of his body into the truck looking around and says it’s an inspection.

I pass the inspection but burned about 30 minutes. Had I not gotten inspected I would’ve been unloaded today instead of tomorrow 🤷‍♂️

Interstate:

Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).

That's a pretty long time for a Level 3. At least it's over, and you passed~!

Carry on, good sir.

They download and look at your logs now . I’m just glad that there is nothing wrong with the truck. That was one of the things that went through my mind when I got pulled over. Maybe I blew a tire and didn’t know it which would’ve been really bad because I’ve only got two months on these brand new ECopia 123 bridgestones( One of the best tires you can put on a trailer in my opinion)

Holy wow, not to be nosey, but are you delivering to Int'l Paper in Mt. Vernon? That's where my husband hauls from, and production is on vacay this week. I wonder if you aren't bringing in his 'tomorrow's' load, haha!

Nice Truck~~! thank-you-2.gif

ps: Didn't consider the logs download time; last time I was in a 'ride a long' for a level 3 we had paper. Figured the ELD would be quicker, haha!

I noticed a NYS Trooper pulling over trucks on I-88 which runs from Binghamton to Albany. Single trooper. He must have been doing random level three inspections.

No a couple of blocks from there there’s a business it is a warehouse and I think he does business with international paper
