Hi ladies, I wanted to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Yvonne and I live in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. My 22 year old son moved to the mainland this past summer and just completed his driver training with CRST and is currently finding his way to his truck and co-driver. Ian is my only child and while I am super proud of him, I am also nervous for him! It's such a huge responsibility driving something that with one mistake could really hurt someone. We talk often about safe driving and last week his driving hours got flip flopped so a couple hours before his shift was over, he found himself having a hard time staying awake so he pulled over and told the trainer he needed to stop. I hope he will always exercise good judgement like that.

Every time I talk to Ian I ask where he is and he asked me why I always ask him that! I had to explain to him that a mom always wants to know that her child, even as an adult, is okay.

So, anyway, I think it's really awesome that there is a women's group and I hope to participate in your conversations!

Can you get your son to join the site, too?

If he does, you can see where he's at with the GPS tracker on here!

"Mom is ALWAYS watching you!"

Well, with that information, of course I'll have him join LOL!! We are from a small town so he learned in high school pretty quickly that either his mom or other moms were ALWAYS watching! Thanks for the tip :)

Hello and welcome. My sister lives in Honolulu and my niece went to Punahou but just graduated from NYU last year.

My sis and bro in law thought I was nuts for trucking and my mom showed them my Youtube videos where I talk about the things I messed up and they were shocked lol

If your son has good judgement he will be fine. CRST is a team company so he will always have someone with him which may give you a little comfort.
