That’s not how drilling permits work bro what Is giveth the all mighty federal ink pen can taketh that’s how it works all these so called permits you say are stock piled become nut with 1 mighty slash of his command I was 3 years into a 7 year contract that was bought and paid for and all permits revoked all fracking permits were shut down last April by Gavin newsome those were bought and paid for already 2 different occasions same party and I’m not talking about some mom and pop oil leases 1 was chevron the other California resources corporation On my last day working before I went and got my cdl schooling they laid down 400 rigs in 1 week my company laid off 750 people in 1 day in just 1 division on 1 rig you have a butt load of 3 party oil services it takes to assist drilling about1500 personnel laid off for 2 rigs drilling do the math

How would that be bad for the trucking industry? The ban is only for NEW permits on Federal Land. Federal Land only supplies 10% of US gas and oil supplies.

Besides, Big U.S. oil drillers already have federal permits to mute effect of any Biden ban.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
