The Simple Things Make You Smile

Today I had to pass through the scale on I-55 N there was a state trooper parked at the end of the ramp. Well I get back upto speed and in my mirror see a car weaving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed. When he passes me he gets in front of me to get off at the next ramp and the radar on my truck said he was doing 99 mph, I thought what a jerk, wonder what the chances are that State Trooper saw him.

Sure enough I look back in my mirrors and saw some bright headlights coming up quickly and by golly it was said trooper he passed me and got off at the ramp and got right behind said speeder. Unfortunately the light was red, and he was probably waiting for it to change so I didnt get to see him get lit up.

Simple things like that make me smile

I love that!

Yesterday on 70 in Indiana, I had a Super Trucker pass me at 86 in a 65 mph zone. Sure enough, about 25 miles down the road, he's on the shoulder, all lit up by a trooper.

I tooted my air horns when I went by.
