She says she doesn't DOX........ But if she's a FB Stalker, that may be as bad? I don't know because TT is my only social media.

Point taken; I'm out if that's what y'all want.

You wouldn't have known about Laura had I not told you. Who got Moe back? I did.

Y'all have fun. I do what I do because I CARE(d.) By the way, punctuation goes INSIDE parenthesis, or ANY other grammatical encapsulates.

Spoke to her today, also. You?

Due diligence..thanks, guys! At least I'm straight up, and just me, wishing to be one of you. Y'all didn't even KNOW what a doxxer was until I told you. I'll miss ya.

Trump is permanently banned from twitter; maybe I'll just go there. Sorry.

And thin-skinned too. Thought you were tougher than that?

Still buying lunch though, right?

Rick

Only at 3711.. You wanna step it up? Dutch. I like a place with some good protein, and dang awesome Iced Tea.

Thanks for the 'reach outs.' (Thick skin is a password to the politics of a forum I don't partake in.)

I was completely, totally joking. My really sincere apology that it was taken wrong, and I'm so very sorry that I wrote that in jest.

Please don't go away from here.

Apology accepted. Riding w/the other half to Chewy on a day off,, ....helped clear my woes... (is me..) feelings.

Thank you.

Being COOPED UP homeschooling , and talking to y'all, and a few online jobs, is ALL i got; and verisimilitude.

I guess I see the 'joke' of it all ... finally ; thanks to the texts, dm's, and emails. (And a special phone call.)

I apologize as well, to Navypoppop for derailing this thread. I'm an example of how it IS possible to contact people here! TTR is NOT the answer, folks. JSYK.

You're fine, Pack. All you've been thru, you don't want lip from the likes of me.. 'a trucker's wife, boohoo....' I get it. Clean slate. Call me. Laura has my #... I don't have Y/T .. sorry; nothing to show off, haha~!!!

Just proved my point that I can, in fact, find most people.. but for the purple PITA preston/Todd/TomCougar. My kiddo tried; and thinks he has a VIP network... if not more than one.

I'm not a doxxer. I find people; i like people. I wanna drive, too. Someday.

Thanks TONS, Ray & Jammer .. means a lot. I'm thinking I talk too much of that which I know nothing about. Riding w/the hubby (against company policy but with a waiver from somebody that WANTED him bad enough to drive today) opened my eyes to a LOT more than just the green book, and .. many things. I'd jump in the cold pool TOMORROW if I could.

Sadly, but loyally, I'm still the 'mom' for one more year, it seems.

Thanks, guys.

Ray / Papa Pig ... More videos?

Jammer .... photos?? A thread? I taught you how!!

Agree! You've encouraged many of us when I've needed it and I love how much positive energy you bring to the forum. The knowledge you bring is appreciated and it would be our loss for you to part ways.

Thanks so MUCH, Rob T. I actually look up to YOU, thou young enough to be my son, haha!

I try to 'acclaim' myself as the site cheerleader, LoL. I try.

Maybe I'll just back OFF a bit, for everyone's sake.. time will tell. I'll hang, then. Thanks.

ps: I'm all about being encouraging, but any KNOWLEDGE i've shared, is usually from the mouth of my hubby, Tom (his years on the highways) .. or that I've learned from.. or asking . . . RICK S. believe it or not. I nag him on FB.. sorry~!!

I always hit him up when I'm stymied. Just didn't realize I was being a pita and putting my feet where my mouth belonged oftentimes.

pps: Rob, you rock it, young'un. I'd be proud to be your mom.

Hey Anne, I definitely appreciate your presence on TT. You are infinitely encouraging. I "lurk" more than post and I see your post often. I stopped posting on the training forum because I felt like an imposter. (ADHD problem) Also Solo has a much more concise description of the training program. Zach.

Zachery, that means a lot, and I thank you tons. I, too, was a 'lurker' for MANY years before posting. I'd used this site to help my HUBBY learn from...and it worked~!! Brett can vouch for that. . . . yep!

i'll stay around for the likes of you.. if YOU post more, also!! Come out of your shell, good sir. I've followed you, as you know!!!

Why do you feel like an IMPOSTOR ?!?!? (I understand ADHD more than you know; as well as OCD.) I remember Solo's diary well; sure wonder where HE went.

Would LOVE to hear YOUR TAKE on the DIARY processes, Zach. I'm sure I'm not the 'ONLY' ONE, either!

Thanks to all that cared; guess I'm bad at being the 'butt' of jokes when I've left the homefront TODAY for the 1st time in weeks. I've gotten 'thin' myself; unfortunately, not in the waist.

Scott is helping me with a diet; if he did it, I can~!!

Carry on, peeps.

Always,

~ Anne ~

ps: I'll quit doxxing.. or at least try.... or get my PI's license if I never get my CDL~!!

Thanks to each and every one of you. Still luv.

Me.

  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Agreed.. THANK YOU, good sir! I shall 'dapper down' A BIT and leave it to you professionals; that I'll do.

Sure felt good to get OUT today. . . . maybe I needed that.

BTW: Thanks again, O/S... as always. Maybe I NEEDED that from PackRat & Rick.. idunno.

I'm glad you got out too! It has nothing to do with this little fiasco though. People need to get out of the house a little. If there is anything we've learned from these crazy days it's that we are not meant to be cooped up and treated as if we were rejects and reprobates. Freedom is something we need. Being trapped in ones own house is not as bad as being in prison, but it is confinement and it doesn't do us a lot of good.

My wife and I have had a friend from our days in college who has struggled with some mental illness. She is in a nursing home now days and my wife always has gone and taken her out at least twice a week just to do some shopping and to enjoy a nice meal out. Since the crazy restrictions of this Covid madness the nursing homes won't let anyone in or out. Our friend has suffered greatly. She just needs to get out and see the trees, enjoy some fresh air, and move about freely. She is so much better when she can come and go on her own terms. We've helped her for many years - she is our friend and she has no family. It hurts to see her suffering like she is when the cure would be so simple. Isolation can be good if it's something you desire. When it's forced upon you it is very harmful.

TWIC:

Transportation Worker Identification Credential

Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.

Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

Well I'm sure glad, Anne, ya got the love you needed, in case there was any question! In my year here, hey, hard to believe anyone took any of that truly seriously. All I needed was for you to say that punctuation is supposed to be INside of the parentheses, to get a shrug-it-off chuckle from this language geek. (Say what?!) My response being, not so fast (it totally depends)! ...

and for perspective just ask Jammer whod rightly say who cares even though his nearly total lack of punctuation drives me half-crazy I read him anyway cuz I know I can be hard to read in my own way and besides we're all all over the atlas here anyway but that's what gives TT its rich flavor and texture Anne if you left methinks this site would practically crash and burn or freeze to death so don't even think about going anywhere cept OTR with yer hubster hey seriously I love your way with words especially when its possible to follow your mind-meanderings (!)

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
