Hi all!

I am new here!

I was wondering if you all could tell me which truck stops have the worst WiFi in the Midwest so that I can avoid them at all costs!

Do you know which truck stops have the best WiFi in the Midwest?

I have become so reliant on WiFi in my rig that I can't just deal with stops that have terrible WiFi!

Thank you!

I can absolutely help you out here. The truck stops with the worst wi fi are the ones with truck parking, stores, free wi fi or premium paid wi fi. They are all the worst regardless of the name on the building. Use your phone as a hotspot. Cell signal of course is affected by where you are and which provider you use. There are ZERO truck stops, anywhere with fast, dependable wi fi.

Hi, Caitlin; welcome to Trucking Truth!!

We've had so many threads on 'just this,' but I sure do hear you.. When I was on the road w/my husband, it was paramount, haha! We didn't run that area, however...so I can only speak for the Mideast, if even. MANY truckstops CHARGE for WiFi, by the hour, to get premium; everywhere.

Type WiFi in the search bar above (the white bar that says 'Enhanced by Google') and there are NUMEROUS threads on just this.

Until the Midwest drivers show up with current info;

Have you looked into this? It 'could' be pricey, but .. also worthwhile if it means that much to you (as it did/does me!)

WiFi vs. MiFi

Lastly, I believe our own Kearsey has much info on this in one of her videos; and you could probably glean some other great advice, from another female driver~!!

Here's that:

Best wishes, Caitlin~!

Always here to help; stop back & let us know what else we can do for you, & how it turns (ed) out for you!

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
